You can have the best product in the world, the best website in the world but there is no point if no one knows you are there. So what can you do? You can buy advertising to drive traffic to your website but that is expensive and unless you have a lot of money to burn your outgoings will be way more than you are getting in return. It’s a very tight line you have to walk and most beginners fall into debt, but with practice comes perfection and you learn a lot on the way but you should expect to incur some debt in the early stages. Don’t worry you will soon get it back.
· And try not to follow the same path as other people are following. If lots of other affiliates are doing the same as you then the potential market will be saturated with affiliates doing the same thing- result poor or no sales. Like with a lot of things in life keep to the basics, the KISS rule is always a good thing to have in the back of your mind KEEP IT SIMPLE – STUPID. Have a product you believe in, have a good knowledge about and even better have a passion for. Don’t expect to start making money from day one, have a bit of patience and you will reap the rewards.
· So you have your shiny new website up with loads of good content and a fabulous product and now all you are waiting for is the money to roll in! Wrong sorry it just does not work that way. You need to update and update and update. The reason being people will get to realise that you are a real person, put a happy Easter message or happy thanksgiving message. Make your site up to date. You don’t have to update every day but at least every two weeks.
